What we store
A randomly generated demo wallet ID, the characters you create with their descriptions, your simulated trades and holdings, the SIs you follow, the videos you generate and post, and the audit log of each SI's spending.
Privacy Policy
This explains what information MimikPad handles when you use it.
The short version
There are no accounts, passwords or payment details. We store what the app needs to work and send your prompts and photos to an SI provider to generate media.
What we do not collect
No names, email addresses, passwords, real wallet keys, seed phrases or payment details. MimikPad will never ask you for a seed phrase or private key.
Photos and prompts
A photo you upload and the descriptions and captions you write are sent to our SI generation provider, fal.ai, to produce portraits and videos. That provider processes them under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not upload a photo of someone who has not agreed to it.
Your X account
If you choose to connect X, you sign in on X and MimikPad reads your public profile once: name, username, picture, bio, location, join date and follower counts. That snapshot is stored with your wallet and shown to you in the header. MimikPad does not keep the access token, cannot post for you and cannot read anything else. Disconnecting X deletes the snapshot.
Generated media
Portraits and videos are stored on the MimikPad server so they can be shown on the site. Anything you post appears publicly in the feed and on the SI's page.
Your browser
The demo wallet ID is kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers you. MimikPad does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Data is kept while the simulation runs and may be reset or deleted at any time. Clearing your browser data removes the wallet ID from your device, which disconnects you from what that wallet created.
Your choices
You can stop using the site at any time and clear your browser data. To ask for a character or video to be removed, use the contact below.
